Day 283: Chestnuts roasting on an open fire.

So I didn’t realize people actually still DID roast chestnuts on an open fire, but we did! Houston’s 75 degree weather in December was perfect for an outdoors open fire on a plain Monday night. Obvi wine was involved. Turns out chestnuts are delicious. As long as you don’t burn them. Sadly the eclipse did not join us because of some cloudy weather, but all in all it was a great end to a very trying semester.
