Day 284: The two loves of my life

So normally when girls say “these are the two loves of my life!!” they mean like their hubby and new baby, or hubby and puppy, or anything well.. normal. This is my ridiculous(-ly amazing and wonderful) boyfriend and my one stuffed animal, a turtle from the Baltimore Aquarium. Ian is determined to call him Myrtle (rhymes with turtle), but the turtle is clearly a boy so that name won’t do. Ian still calls him Myrtle. You can tell how serious the disagreements in our relationship are.

Nonetheless, Ian in Houston means we fly out tomorrow to Virginia (our hometowns are 10 minutes apart), so I’m quite excited for that. Also hoping Ian will shave sometime soon ;)
