Day 286: So. So. So. So. Close.

All the stockings were hung by the fireplace with care..

We’re so close to Christmas. Our indoor decorations are relatively minimal (well, compared to other houses I’ve seen) but I like it that way. The familiar ones make me happy, and I still can’t get out of my favorite chair (see Day 285). 

For our Christmas we celebrate with my immediate family (4 kids including me, Mom/Dad) as well as Grandma and Granddad. Then we head over to my aunt and uncle’s about 20 minutes away for Christmas dinner. Simple and multiple food comas, just how I like it.
