Day 299: Chicken Pizza

Today we got to visit one of the most important Mayan ruins sites, Chichen Itza (otherwise nicknamed “chicken pizza”). It was absolutely phenomenal and we had an amazing tour guide. Personally, I think this was so much cooler than paying to go get smashed on a beach (one of the other excursion options) :) I highly recommend it if you’re looking somewhere to visit with a more historical bent!
